Ottawa Convention Centre is a LEED Gold certified building. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building rating system administered by the non-profit Canada Green Building Council. There are 70 possible LEED points achievable in six categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources and Innovation and Design.
