The 2018 Ottawa-Gatineau International Auto Show returns to the Shaw Centre from March 22-25 with its biggest and best show yet. Since 1984, the international consumer show has been professionally presenting a top-quality auto show, uniting car lovers, and showcasing the latest models, pre-production models, and exotics, hybrid and electric vehicles.

This year’s four-day consumer show consists of 300 vehicles and 34 manufacturers and will feature luxury cars that will be showcased throughout the Shaw Centre’s state of the art facility including BMW, Audi, Maserati, Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes, Land Rover, Genesis, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Speed Trix Custom bikes.

BatMobile from Batman Returns.

On level 2 there will be a special feature called: Star Cars: A Tribute to the Greatest Cars of TV and Movies of All Time including the BatMobile from Batman Returns, the Back to the Future DeLorean, the Knight Rider Trans Am and the Clown Car from Vegas Rat Rods.

Shaw Centre’s Trillium Ballroom located on level 4 of the facility will be showcasing custom motorcycles from Speed Trix, auto accessories, Free Wifi, the Auto Stage and a restaurant with the best view on Ottawa.

“This is a unique event in that it involves a lot of coordination with the move in and setup of over 300 vehicles” says Blake Rainville, the Senior Manager of Facilities at the Shaw Centre, “Even the slightest delay or downtime with the freight elevators can throw everything off. Having to be so precise with the timing makes this event one of the most challenging yet exciting events for our Facilities Team to work on. Not to mention you get to see some of the nicest cars out there.”

This year marks the 7th consecutive Ottawa-Gatineau Auto Show being hosted by Shaw Centre and the estimated attendance is that of 50,000 people.
