AMO is already signed for 2017, making Shaw Centre its home for four consecutive years.
The contract was awarded to Shaw Centre based on its proven capabilities to handle large-scale events, enhanced client experiences, innovative solutions and an unwavering commitment to helping clients achieve their goals. Canada’s Meeting Place will support AMO’s mandate to promote the value of the municipal level of government as a vital and essential component of Ontario and Canada’s political system.
More than 1,200 delegates are expected to attend these events, where the focus will be to present the latest on current and emerging Ontario municipal interests.
“Choosing the right venue can make or break an event and is often the most challenging part of event planning. We felt the Shaw Centre was receptive to our needs and had our best interest at heart. They are obviously experts in their field and this makes us confident our events will be successful, “ said Nancy Plumridge, Director of Administration and Business Development.
“This important multi-year contract strengthens our business relationship with AMO and we are delighted with the opportunity to once again host this prestigious conference at the Shaw Centre. It is an honour to be awarded the conference for four consecutive years and it speaks volumes to the quality of the experience our guests have come to expect and appreciate when doing business in Ottawa,” said Shaw Centre President and CEO Patrick Kelly.
